The Creative Gallery is now closed.

However all our makers continue to create and will be getting back together this May/June for Purbeck Art Weeks

Fiona Kelly & Frauke Fege (ceramics), Helen Francis (floral art), Linda Rowe (fused glass), Wendy Nutt & Caroline Parrott (jewellery), Graham Towler (landscape paintings), Rose Hatcher (textiles, books and jewellery) and Cliff Towler (wildlife painting) will be exhibiting at Not Just Sundaes, community cafe, in Trinity Church, South Street, Wareham BH20 4LU 24th May to 8th June, 2025. Open daily 10am-5pm.

The Gallery was first opened in 2005 by the brothers Cliff and Graham Towler; painters specialising in wildlife and Jurassic landscape paintings.  Along with their paintings they also exhibited various ceramics  and the stoneware pottery of Fiona Kelly, the latter having taken over the Gallery in early 2013. With the change in management Fiona introduced some new artist makers; Frauke Fege, porcelain ceramics;  Helen Francis, textiles and mixed media; Rose Hatcher, semi-precious jewellery;  Wendy Nutt, silver jewellery;  Caroline Parrott, dyed aluminium jewellery and accessories and Linda Rowe, glass.  In addition a programme of monthly guest makers was commenced to showcase other Dorset based artists, to add an ever changing look to the Gallery.

The Gallery was staffed by the artist/makers, who often created their artworks while chatting with customers.
