Resident Artists/Makers

Our resident Artists/Makers help serve in the Gallery from time to time, their work is exhibited throughout the year and they will often be creating their work while stewarding in the gallery.

Frauke Fege:  porcelain & sculptural ceramics

Joining the Gallery as a resident maker for January 2020 Frauke creates a range of functional porcelain pottery as well as small sculptural porcelain paper-clay figures.

 

Helen Francis:  textile artist

New to our team of resident artist/makers team from September 2018, Helen‘s bright colourful textile, multi media and painted creations will add a new dimension to our regular display at the Gallery.

 

 

Fiona Kelly:  stoneware pottery

Fiona‘s pots are mainly thrown on the wheel, using stoneware clay, to produce functional, decorative pots for use in the home.

Wendy Nutt:  silver jewellery

Using sterling silver Wendy pierces, photo-etches and enamels her jewellery to produce pieces with simple elegant patterns.

Caroline Parrott:  aluminium jewellery

Joining our group of resident makers from November 2018 Caroline creates a wide range of jewellery and ornaments using brightly coloured, printed and dyed aluminium.

 

Linda Rowe: fused glass

Linda‘s bright and contemporary designs are produced using stained glass, copper foil, Tiffany and glass fusing.

 

Cliff Towler:  paintings and photography

With an emphasis on Dorset wildlife Cliff creates original acrylic paintings on canvas, as well as pet portraits, prints and photographs of the local area.

 

 Graham Towler:  paintings

Landscapes and seascapes are Graham‘s motivation to paint.  He features many Dorset and West Country iconic views in his large and small original acrylics.
